Q-Courage

Nature-based programs for leadership,

teamwork, and personal development

Our mission

With over 30 years of experience in team and leadership development, we’ve found no better learning platform than nature. Our programs focus on developing teams and leaders while connecting with the natural world. We value environmental responsibility and the interconnectedness of ecosystems, which is reflected in our approach.
- Let Q-Courage be your partner in this journey. Together, we learn, grow, and find joy in nature. Take the step and experience nature with us -

What we do / Our concept

  • Team Development

Take your team out and into nature. Let them experience nature together, let them be challenged and see what they get out of it.

  • Leadership Training

Inviting leaders to nature's classroom, where they can explore their full potential through outdoor leadership training.

  • Experince Nature

We believe that experiences in nature promote collaboration, trust, …and joy. Let us design your next experience.

How we do it!

At Q-Courage, we use a motivation- and knowledge based approach to what we do. Our goal is always to select the best learning environments to maximize the potential learning. Behavioural research indicates that the learning environment is often more important than the content itself. What does this mean?

It means that we use nature and outdoor as the physical setting for our activities.

Teambuilding with Q-Courage

Our 3 simple learning tools

  • Learning pyramide - understand how we learn best

    Learning Pyramid

The Learning Pyramid: Understanding where and how we learn best helps us eliminate barriers to poor learning. This means moving away from lectures, PowerPoints, and passive learning. towards active learning.

  • Zone of Proximal Development - Q-Courage

    Zone of Proximal Development

Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) by Vygotsky: What we can’t do today, we might be able to do tomorrow. We are expanding our comfort zone by visiting the development zone again and again and again.

  • Team building with model

    O-R-I-P-U-K Model

The O-R-I-P-U-K Model: Group feedback on how to prepare, execute, conclude, and evaluate a task, as a group.

When using the Learning Pyramid, we always operate in the lower section to ensure active learning. We combine this with tasks and challenges that bring participants in and out of their proximal development zone. To achieve learning on a specific task, we structure it using the O-R-I-P-U-K model at the "discussion" level from the Learning Pyramid.

We have chosen to focus on tools and learning platforms that provide the highest output. We leverage knowledge of behavioural psychology. Therefore we will ask you to put away your mobile phone during certain programs.
